Staining wood on your home gives incredible protection against rotting and sun damage. High foot traffic areas such as decks, need extra protection as they undergoe more strain. Staining is the perfect mix of aesthetic and durability.
Before exterior painting / staining, all areas will be thoroughly pressure washed to insure the product sticks and penetrates the wood. This also prevents peeling and looks amazing when finished!
Sanding before staining is crucial as it evens out impurities in the wood, leaving a smoother look. Sanding before painting is only necessary when there is peeling or the surface is too rough for paint to spread evenly.
WHO WE ARE
In 2019, owner Coulter Prestage graduated from Elphinstone secondary in Gibsons, BC. He then started post secondary at University of Victoria in the 2020 fall semester. His interest in Business school inspired us to kickstart our own Venture! Devco may be a new painting company but our commitment to integrity and customer satisfaction is unmatched and we plan to continue our growth for years to come!
